Our Mission
The
Lord burdened my heart over twenty-five years ago with the need
for a ministry to help men who have been saved out of difficult
circumstances. Many times a church is not equipped to provide
the continuous program of discipling and training needed
by those who come out of drugs, alcoholism, prison, etc. There
are also many young people who are not qualified for college or
who do not have a desire to pursue an academic area of study but
would benefit from vocational training with a Christian
perspective.
I
also have a burden for pastors of small churches. They frequently
have to work to supplement their income. Often, they do not have
the resources or skills to fix up their facilities. Many have
offices that are not conductive to study or appropriate for counseling.
Church auditoriums are frequently in need of repair and could
use some remodeling and new pulpit furniture.
In
1999, my wife and I founded Christian Vocational Ministries to
meet the needs of these two areas: a residential program to teach
Christian men how to live and make a living, and a ministry of
helps to pastors and churches. We desire your prayerful support
for the glory of God.

"Let
him that stole steal no more: but rather
let him labor, working with his hands
the thing which is good, that he may have to give
